Help Write, Please

I am feeling kind of blah about writing these days. I know part of it has to do with my allergies. I am having a hard time getting my thoughts together at times. Once I get to writing, it flows okay. I am just not excited right now as I usually am during other writing times.

I wish my muse was feeling better these days.

I press on, though. I could use some encouragement. A Rah rah rah, cis boom bah would be helpful.

One Thousand One Hundred Twenty-Five Words

I wrote 1,125 words. To me, the story feels kind of BLAH. I am writing some good stuff, but it still seems kind of BLAH. I can't explain it, but it does. Maybe it is because I haven't been active in the April''s Fool forums, but I am planning to become more active. Maybe if I have some friends to talk to the story about, I will feel better about the story. Right now, it is just me doing this.

I am thinking about talking about my endeavors on ShoutLife as well. That should help me.

I Made It!

Today I wrote 2,878 words. I went 41 words over my weekly goal for Captive By History. YEA!

I had to leave the house to do that. But sometimes a change of scenery is just what you need to get the juices flowing.

I hope next week will be more productive.

Didn't Find a Thing

I checked my files. I didn't find anything related to my older files. Oh well, I typed up some new stuff. It seems pretty good. I got to be more careful when I am typing, saving, and editing.

Continued Editing

I continued editing Captive By History today. I just found out that quite a bit of a chapter is missing. I will have to go rewrite that part. From what I remember, that part was good, too.

I am going to type something up. I am going to check out my older files and see if that part in my files.

Oh well.

Editing Captive By History

I started editing my novel. It has been going well. There were not as many errors as I thought there would be. That was a blessing.

So far, I think I need add more transitional sentences so that people can tell when I am changing scenes. I am still trying to figure out how I should break down the chapters as well. Right now, they are broken down in some crazy way. I can't even figure it out.

I am going to have to make up a lot of words because I didn't write anything on the 1st or today. I know once I get into the swing of things, I will be able to catch up. I should be writing 700/day.

I thought I had created an outline for the story, but I guess I hadn't. I am going to create a skeleton outline for the novel. It has flowed rather well considering that I didn't have an outline. I am going to have to check my files on the big computer at home to make sure that I don't have one.

April Fool's Challenge

This month, I am participating in the April Fool's Novel Challenge. Basically, you state a goal, work towards that goal, and hope for the best.

Here are my goals for the challenge.
1. Edit Captive By History.
2. Write at least 20,000 words on the novel.
3. Edit the newly written material.
4. Update the entire novel.
5. Finish Part One of Captive by History.
